Fresh to the Chef are pleased to advise that as of Friday the 17th of October we have purchased the business assets of Cox Distributors Limited. Fresh to the Chef is a local business owned by Jason Horton and Anna Scotland and we specialise in chilled and fresh product with a processing plant in Maleme Street, Greerton. While our base business was processed vegetables, we expanded into wholesale fruit and vegetables in 2008 and more recently into meat and fish supply. You can find out more about us by visiting www.freshtothechef.co.nz Fresh to the Chef will be distributing for Food First Limited so that relationship will continue as at present. We also have other suppliers with additional products that will be available to existing Cox customers. For these customers some change is inevitable, you will be dealing with a new company Fresh to the Chef. All purchases from 17th October will be invoiced by FTTC and we will supply you with new banking arrangements and trade terms and conditions. We are maintaining the relationship with Food First to improve both our product range and purchasing terms. The increased turnover of the combined businesses should provide better opportunities and we are wanting to improve our customer services from ordering to delivery to financial arrangements. Many of our clients pay us by direct debit reducing all administration costs and we would like to discuss this option with you.

Cox Distributors

Our office is open from 6.00 am to 2.00pm 5 days a week.

Delivery days are in Tauranga and Mount Maunganui are 7 days a week , Coromandel 6 days a week, as well as 3 days a week to Whakatane, Hamilton and Te Puke.
